Career Choice

I sit here at age 61 and I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up. I find it hard to believe that the part of my life for choosing what I want to be has come and gone. Living vicariously through my children and grandchildren , though satisfying, has its drawbacks. I can't choose for them or change their course. Looking back, I don't even know if I would change any of my choices, for at the time they seemed the only feasible way to keep going. Does age really make us any wiser?
